BSNL Internet Broadband SUCK....
By the way I have already lodged my complaint through 18004241600 (One more twist here on the BSNL Website they have given the number as 16004241600 which never turns up as right number for broadband issues)
Once after complaint lodged no response from 2 days.
Someone from customer care tells to call - 26751111
Then again he gives another number after dialing couple of times - 26740400
Then again one more number - 26740300
Then after calling for 11 times in 1 hour I get the response Manjula madam is not in the seat..... Call after 1 hour
Then again after trying 8 times in 45 min I get a response "why don’t you come to office and talk with Manjula madam"... (Who the hell is this manjula!!!..... )
Later I got the number of manula madam :) I still not lost my hopes you see... - 20129532 - she is the one who manages 1000s of internet connection for faults... shoooot... one lady for whole lot of connections.
interesting thing now when I get to call manjula madam - listen to her response ..."I cannot fix it today, as I was in your area till now and right now I am far away from office and your area I cannot come back again" I politely response I can pick you and drop to the same place once my internet got fixed or please arrange for any other alternate person who I can pick him up for fix.. ... She hangs up the phone....
Again after calling several time for exchange... i have received higher authority number this time its Gayathi madam ... :)... - 26749193
She said there are 2 lines one cannot be fixed and other I need to give a try and she took my number saying she will call me back... till now no reponse.........
Jai BSNL ...Mera Bharat Mahan ... (It happens only in India)

There is a thin line of difference between confidence and arrogance...
There is a thin line of difference between confidence and arrogance - Azim Premji
I was reading to a mail forwarded by my colleague about Inspiring excerpts from the address by Azim Premji , founder, Wipro , at IIT Delhi's convocation ceremony
I liked his lessen #4:
Lesson 4: Nothing fails like success
The fourth lesson I have learnt is the importance of humility. There is a thin line of difference between confidence and arrogance. Confident people are always open to learn. A recent survey of executives in Europe showed that the single most important quality needed for leadership success was the willingness to learn from any situation. Arrogance on the other hand stops learning. It comes with a feeling that one knows all that needs to be known and has done all that needs to be done.
This really really make sense, comes very handy in the corporate world.
Cheers,

Kannada Barutha?? (ಕನ್ನದ ಬರುಥ) ಮತ್ತೆ ಎನ್ನ್ರೀ ದಾಡಿ ಕನ್ನಡದಲಿ ಮತದೊಕೀ ?
"Change is inevitable" from the days of BEML, HAL and BHEL to INFOSYS, WIPRO; Bangalore has a new look now on the world map. Gone are the days where a typical Sunday for any bangalorean was a nice romantic walk on the pavements of "LALBAGH...", "rave idli and coffee.." at the nearest yet old looking MTR and a wonderful Annavra film either at Santosh or central 'talkies'. Today's Bangalore is deluged in traffic, stress and pressure, Saturday nights without beer is desolate and a Sunday without a visit to either a nearest spa or health clinic is schlocky!!
The gandhibazar's are now AC cooled super markets, majestic is now replaced by ultra modern and diversified Brigade road, sri cauvery coffee joint is now Coffee days.. and "Bhagyalakshmi coffee adda.. is now barista. With globalisation and more retail market the city will definitely see more forceful changes.
Have all these changed our language? Kannada the local language of Bangalore is supposed to be one of the most meaningful language, it also
has an unique script as compared to its other counterparts; but how many percentage of people really use Kannada in Bangalore now? The figures are staggering, only 37% of people speak kannada in the state's capital, for rest it is only "Kannada barutha?"
Any normal guy starts with this sentence "Kannada barutha?" while talking to other person, people confirm before they speak the language. You want to ask an address in Bangalore? Or reply to a question then English is the most preferred language other than Hindi.. It's a famous fact that two kannidagas in an IT company always talk in a neutral language!! even the vendors and shop keepers are channeled with this new wave, the moment when you step in any shop in Bangalore , you are always asked "Kannada barutha?" or the entire conversation takes place in non kannada languages. People have lost the confidence of speaking in the local language and more over speaking Kannada on the streets of "M.G road "or "kormangala" is substandard.
Shopping malls in the city have been completely banned from using Kannada, not a forced one but definitely an adapted one. One has to confirm that the other person knows the language before he starts using any language. "ondu glass beer" is a insult when it comes to any decorous pub in Bangalore . "Swalpa menu card kodthira..??" has been replaced by "Can I have the menu card please...?"
Just to hit some facts, marathi is still the largest and common speaking language in mumbai even though mumbai has the highest no of inhabitants. Telugu is a practised ritual in yet another IT HUB Hyderabad. When it comes to tamil nadu, beware you can be alive either if you are a fan of rajnikanth or you know tamil.. Malyalam runs in the blood of every mallu be it Kuwait , dubai or any hospital; but when it comes to kannada it is always "kannada barutha?" and next is "namaskara."
I am neither a Kannada activist nor do I run any Kannada supporting organization, I am just a plebeian who just love the language.
Globalisation is the trend and modernisation is the mantra but at the cost of the language? Sounds no logic.. Is speaking kannada down market? The answer has to be found within oneself. Next time when you hear "kannada barutha?" you just remember that "kannada runs in your blood.."

My New interest - ECONOMICS, FINANCE, SHARES, STOCKS ALL ABOUT MONEY ;-)
My uncle used to read many newspapers one in which he used spend lot of time is "The Economic Times" I used to wonder why he would read so much in that paper where there is no good photos and news, cos my favorite section in news paper is "Bangalore Times" (An additional attach comes with "Times of India") cos i love to read and see bollywood news
This was the short story back in 1994 - 1996 (times of my 12th standard)
Recently, there is so much of talks about recession, economy slow down, US markets, BSE Sensex (Down to 8+ thousands), NSE, GDP Etc. Etc
Talks like, Sensex is going down and down day by day and it might reach as below 6k, GDP is raising all time high, people of lost crores of rupees in stock market, and more importantly one of my friend lost a nominal big amount in share trading - these multiple hits of those news created some sort of curiosity to know about whats these all about.
I think this is the transformation stage where I myself created so much curious to know about it more and more.
I quickly got one trading account from Karvy (www.karvyonline.com)
Well, It does helps in many ways, keep track of economy not only India but also US, cos whenever there is drop in US Market next day you see the same down trend in India Stock market.
Anyways Now i am newbie in this field and so excited to learn and know and ultimately make money out of it..
My logic is quite simple, if you open and FD (Fixed Deposit) Account max you might get 10% for 365 days, in the worst case i would be expecting to make 10% of invested money in 1 year.
To be honest i strongly anticipate you will definitely can make your money group much more in the shorter period, keep in mind you should have patience and place your money smartly.
As I said above heir no harm for 10% of your invested money for sure if you invest for long term.
Invest Carefully, Start with Less do not hurry, take decision wisely.
Do not dream for big, Go Steady..
Happy Trading..
Cheers and keep rocking and keep making money its all Business EOD

My System Sucks !!!! God Bless America
By the way yeah i am using my company laptop which was suppose to change after 3 years its already 3 years 2 months and luckily recession had effected same time when i wanted to change my laptop, waaa what a lucky chap am i right?
Well i have been luckily for most of the times in my life, which i might or might not write about it in my blog, lucky to loose things, person and many more ..
anyways .. lets wrap up with funny video who are also frustrated with there system.
SAVE MOTHER EARTH - SAVE ENERGY - MAKE THIS WORLD MORE GREEN TO LIVE
Ask yourself what you have done for earth and whats your contribution. Day by Day Earth is getting more and more difficult to live and we are in the verge of spoiling it rather then saving it.
May organization and companies are contributing to create awareness and everyone of us should feel responsible to SAVE OUR MOTHER EARTH
SAVE MOTHER EARTH - SAVE ENERGY - MAKE THIS WORLD MORE GREEN TO LIVE.
The most visible sign of the environmental damage caused by humans, the melting of the ice on the oceans and on land is a local and global problem. Arctic ecosystems, whose best known species is the polar bear, are under threat. Native peoples, particularly the Inuits, also see their living conditions worsen as the ice melts. The ice is a witness to the Earth's climatic evolutions and its disappearance will have consequences far beyond the polar regions. As the ice-cap melts, sea-levels will rise drastically altering coastlines all round the world.

Main jahaan rahoon - Main kahin bhi hoon - Teri yaad saath hai
main jahaan rahoon
main kahin bhi hoon
teri yaad saath hai
jaane kiski talaash unaki aankhon mein thi
aarajoo ke musaafir bhatkate rahein
jitane bhi woh chale
utane hi bichh gayein raah mein faasalein
kwaab manjil thi aur manjilein khwaab thi
raaston se nikalate rahein raaste
jaane kis waste aarjoo ke musaafir bhatkate rahein
main jahaan rahoon
main kahin bhi hoon
teri yaad saath hai
kisi se kahoon
ke nahi kahoon
yeh jo dil ki baat hai
kehne ko saath apane ek duniya chalti hai
per chhupke is dil mein tanhaayi palti hai
bas yaad saath hai
teri yaad saath hai - 3
main jahaan rahoon
main kahin bhi hoon
teri yaad saath hai
koyi puraani yaad mera rasta roke mujhse kehti hai
itani jalati dhoop mein yuun kab tak ghumoge
aayo, chalke bitein dino ki chhanv mein baithe
us lamhein ki baat karein
jisme koyi phool khila tha
us lamhein ki baat karein ke
jisme kisi aawaaz ki chaandi khanak uthi thi
us lamhein ki baat karein ke
jisme kisi nazaron ke moti barse the
koyi puraani yaad mera rasta roke mujhse kehti hai
itani jalati dhoop mein yuun kab tak ghumoge
kahin to dil mein yaadon ki
ek suli gad jaati hai
kahin har ek tasveer bhahut hi dhondhali pad jaati hai
koi nayi duniya ke naye rango mein khush rehta hai
koi sab kuch paake bhi yeh mann hi mann kehta hai
kehne ko saath apane ek duniya chalti hai
per chhupke is dil mein tanhaayi palti hai
bas yaad saath hai
teri yaad saath hai - 3
sach toh yeh hai kasoor apana hain
chaand ko chuune ki tamanna ki
aasamaan ko jamin par maanga
phool chaaha ki paththaron pe khilein
kaanton mein ki talaash khoshboo ki
aarjoo ki ke aag thandak de
barf mein dhundate rahein garmi
khwaab jo dekha chaaha sach ho jaaye
isaki humko saja toh milani hi thi
sach toh yeh hai kasoor apana hain
kahin to beete kal ki jadein
dil mein hi utar jaati hai
kahin jo dhage tute to malaayen bhikar jaati
koi dil mein jagah nayi, baaton ke liye rakhta hai
koi apni palko par yaadon ke diye rakhta hai
kehne ko saath apane ek duniya chalti hai
per chhupke is dil mein tanhaayi palti hai
bas yaad saath hai

Ghajini Vs Corporate work life - A lesson from Short term memory loss!!!

Well I had a similar mind set while I went on to movie to watch it, by the end of the movie I ended up in no message ;-) .. HOWEVER .. I still found one after I reached home... through Short Term Memory Loss!!! Lol...
Yeah Short term Memory loss...
Do you remember I have written couple of my previous post exactly or similar on the memory :-)
1. Oh Gosh!!! It’s very difficult for me to remember all I need to do... (Memory loss you see)
2. How do I Optimize My work to remember what I need to do!!! (Over coming memory loss)
Well this movie is somewhere relates to the posts I have written. ..
If you want to show perfection at your work and perfect follow ups and speed up your process then WORK LIKE SANJAY SINGANIYA (its Amir's name in movie Ghajini)
Let me explain...
He has short term memory loss in the movie (like we everyone has in ourselves absent minded you see ...) so how do you over come with absent minded. You need to follow Sanjay (Amir)
Truly... lessons are
This is what exactly in the Film Ghajini project to take his revenge on killer of his girl friend and now you need to do similarly the same... you girl friend is your goal and revenge is your objective... and you are the tool.
- Always have a note on what you did
- Always set timeline for what you do.
- Always record on what action you do.
- Always follow-up on what you have noted.
- Always find the link to reach your goal.
- Last but not least... Hard Work & Focus!!!!

Just to throw a light of the comparison... with movie - Ghajini and Corporate life growth...
1. Always have a note on what you did
Amir always takes up the note on every action he does so that he should remember everything and goes along the track!!
we need to do exactly similar in the work place take a note on what you do, how you do and fix your alerts and calendar to achieve it.
2. Always set timeline for what you do.
Amir's sets the timeline on what to kill his enemy and now you need to do the same :-) when to kill your boss have a timeline to it (just kidding ;-) ...)
Have a timeline fixed timeline not adjustable or Indian timeline (you know what I mean) to achieve short term agenda's
3. Always record on what action you do.
Well Amir's takes photo of each person he kills and mark it as done when he finishes them and even if he wants to remember a friend.
Do it similar, document it anything you do any project you do so that it can be reused to see it in future.
4. Always follow-up on what you have noted.
Well Amir will have a follow up note on what to do next and whom to kill, see you got it... do the same... have follow up remember i explain in my previous post !!
5. Always find the link to reach your goal.
As Amir always used to find some sort of clue to find Ghajini and he will proceed,
That’s where you are... Every action you do will be counted to your growth and every project you do every activities you do will be added to you KPI ;-)... you know better what is KPI is..
6. Last but not least... Hard work & Focus!!!!
Though Amir's body is projected for a very short screens or moments... he have worked hard continuously for an year to gain that body... it will never come in over night or just like that .. It requires consistency and commitment. This part doesn’t need explanation for any corporate... self explanatory isn’t it.
Hmmm go-ahead watch out for movie...
I would give it a 2.5 * out of 5... In that 1.5 is for Amir and 1 is for director if you take out Amir then there is nothing left... one who have watched Tamil Ghajini might not like it .. It’s balanced...
Keep rocking Keep commenting... ;-) and please keep talking...
It’s Pradeep SV.

How do I Optimize My work to rememeber What I need to do !!!

- I will make mails as follow up (as soon as I read mail if I need to follow up that mail then I will mark it as follow up, that dumps the mail in the follow-up folder which highlights for me to check and follow through)
- I will block my calendar (If that follow up comes under three days ago, or month ago or older I will drag and drop to calendar and block my calendar so that I need to work on that on mail at that time .. there is no other go I have finish that)
- Write the To Do list - Dusvedaniya (soon I come to office first thing I do is make a list of things I need to do for that day, and I will make sure I will finish that work before I leave home, trust me even if I want to read any article I will block my calendar)
- Update agenda on the meetings (before I sent out any mail I will update agenda or if I had just sent a meeting request with the general discussion say for example task review meeting then I will send out the request with or without agenda however in the meantime I will keep updating topics I have to discuss in the meeting schedule on my calendar so that I can discuss all that’s in the list while I am in the call/meeting.
- Meeting note on one note - Thanks to Microsoft very excellent tool to make a note of the calendar I would recommend everyone to make use of one note to make the meeting note.
Most important things... I forgot to mention its 1 hour drive to office from my home... so what i should do so that i should not just kill my time driving... Ting!!! Idea (This phrase I learnt from the those beautiful people I had interacted in past and a permanent thread keep running still in the back of my mind always) So in the busy days we get less time to interact with the people around us, we never even call to close family people and friends for months sometime .. everyday while go to office I call all of them who I think I should keep in touch (Except some which I cannot call even though I want to) hmmm I get happy talking, and making sure I am in touch, well ..
I am polling my car from someday... so i need to thing of some other alternative now so that not to kill time just talking with my friend while drving (yeah somtime i drive and many times him - i hate driving in traffic you see) so again Ting Idea !!! .. I have mentioned him to bring one everyday one article on Web analytics (our core expertise) and read out explain and discuss till we reach office whoever not driving... (Me now ;-) ...)
Take Aways!!
- Always make To Do it list (or do it list)
- Reduce traffic (by Pooling Car - Comute.com)
- Do not waste the time - Keep thing and extract best out of it.
- Do multi tasking (keep watching TV while you do other work ;-)..)
- Rest pleas comment if you read my blog.
Hey... I am getting sleep... Good I god time to write something today... its Sunday... night I will publish this once I have a spell check... i am very bad in spelling...
Good night and bye to CNN IBN (I was watching news along me write ;-) ....)
It’s Pradeep SV for you...
Some of the Memory releated article which you might like
Oh Gosh !!! its very difficult for me to remember all I need to do ..

You don’t believe, I went outside my home... and I wanted to lock the door, instead of getting the key I brought Tata Sky remote along with me .. Shoooot !!!... why did I brought remote along with me...
I normally keep my company ID on the dashboard of my car, hmmm not sometime but many time I park my car and I just went out and after reaching the entrance and the moment I know I need to swipe my card .. Shiiitt !!!! Not again... I will go back to get my card... I hate myself many times...
So much so... I fear sometime... I should not bring just laptop bag to office being laptop left back at home. .. lol hehehe ..
Well that have not happened yet... manytime my colleagues say you should keep a personal assistant for you to remind your activities... hmmm Ting whenever they say personal secreretry... my dil gose .. Hmmm hmm... oops. Come back Pradeep :-)
Ok... now... I was reading Bangalore Mirror, on Sunday night watching Oye Friday. (That’s my favorite show... and my another favorite show is "Still moving Keep Shaking ") anyways. I come across an article which said "Don’t Forget me” that said "Do you feel you are turning forgetful by the day? Try these simple tricks and boost your memory" oops... i thought it will help me... you see what the list says
- Make a List (I have been doing. I will explain about it)
- Sukoku (I hate it cos I am poor it in)
- Coin Capers (this is scrap)
- Chocoloate Power(each lot of choco's - gosh !!!)
- Go Play (This is cool - but its a recession time we should not play :( )
- Remember Why (This is the trick)
- Cards are good (We should know how to play)
- Power Nap (hmm after the noon meal in office would love to)
- Make a Game (Same we are playing in our life )
- Take a Walk (we do take every now and then for a coffee break)
You know what... let me explain a footage (the word i learnt by seeing Big Boss on Color TV) which happened in my office... I was asking my colleagues to bring a Gaming CD (Age of Empire - the only game I liked till today and played completely many times) and he never brought it and he kept forgetting it... i had given the idea also I said .. "Please take a snap of mine and make it as your phone desktop wallpaper so that every time you see me... you will remember AOE..." hehehee hai na good idea...
Well that didn’t worked... so I had decided another idea... every morning I came to office the first thing I started doing is. I went to him and said... "Hey Mr. Age of Empire !!, How are you doing today?" hmm you know what... the idea worked out after 9th day of regular wish... ;-) believe me I got the CD...
